Livius introduces Vayyar Home, a multi award winning fall detection technology into the Australian Aged Care and Retirement Market.
Sydney, Australia – Livius and Vayyar Imaging today announce that they have entered a business relationship to introduce the award winning Vayyar Home fall detection solution into Australia’s Aged Care and Retirement Market. Vayyar Home uses advanced 4D radar imaging technology to provide unprecedented levels of accuracy when detecting falls, eliminating the need for any buttons, wearables, pendants or cameras.
The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) estimates that three-quarters of all injury hospitalisations for Australians aged 65+ are the results of a fall. Livius will be distributing Vayyar Home to aged care and NDIS providers. Vayyar Home is the world’s first contact-free PERS solution for senior care facilities, providing 24/7 passive monitoring and instant alerts. The 4D radar imaging sensors track & map everything happening in an environment in real-time. Unlike other products that rely on cameras and optics, Vayyar’s sensors are robust across all lighting conditions and do not collect any optic data, ensuring users’ privacy at all times.
